Earth Point was started in 2012 under Whytman Services Limited, which is a Distributor of Ashlok Safe Earthing Electrode Limited, India’s premier earthing manufacturer. As a citizen of the Indian electrical industry, you must have come across Ashlok for your earthing needs at some point in the past 20 years.

Ashlok is credited with revolutionising the Indian earthing industry when it launched in 1999, and the standards it set are today the industry’s de-facto specifications for earthing. Since then, Ashlok has widely developed a range of earthing electrodes, back fill compounds, and even spearheaded an Indigenous Lightning Rod division to cater to the booming Indian economy. It has also expanded its operation and presence in other countries besides India.

In 2012, Whytman in association with Ashlok took the bold step to organise the Indian earthing industry, which until then was highly chaotic due to numerous unregulated manufacturers entering the space. Earth Point was the result of that step, and the very first professional earthing centre was inaugurated in Hubli, Karnataka in 2012.
